Games

I play some games in my free time, but I mostly spend my time watching shows. Below are some of the games I play.

Don't Starve

Don't Starve is a survival game where you gather resources to craft items to survive the night where strange creatures lurk around. I like this game due to the sheer mystery of it, since there are no instructions to guide you in the beginning, you are expected to find things out yourself and that's what I love about this game.

Rimworld

RimWorld is a sci-fi colony sim with dashes of Dwarf Fortress and The Sims, but that description doesn’t really do it justice. It’s a game about people run through a meat-grinder of insanely harsh conditions and the stories that emerge. What I like about this game is the survival and building aspect to it, similar to Don't Starve and Minecraft.

Prison Architect

Prison Architect is a private prison construction and management simulation video game developed by Introversion Software. Another building and designing game on my list, similar to Rimworld, is a 2D top-down simulation game where you build a prison and manage prisoners however you like.

Minecraft

Minecraft is an extremely successful game developed by Mojang back in 2011, with tens of millions of copies sold. This game was basically my childhood back when I was in Primary School, where I would always look forward to reaching home just to play Minecraft. It's popularity, however, slowly started to dwindle over the years, but out of nowhere it has suddenly gained huge popularity amongst people on Youtube with many Youtubers starting to play the game.

Anime

While I'm not playing any games, I'm watching anime or Youtube. These are just some of my favorite anime.

Haikyuu!!

Haikyuu! It's everything you would expect in a sport anime, and more. It's a narrative about a school that was once successful, but is on its decline. Now the volleyball team has to rise back from it's grave. But what makes the story of Haikyuu!! stand out for me is how you get engrossed in the development of each character; you actually feel for them. Also, there are twist and turns here and there to keep you on your toes! Whether or not you’re new to the sports genre or volleyball, Haikyuu!! is still worth watching. If you’re new, this is the perfect gateway anime for sports.

Toradora!

Here we have Toradora! A slice of life rom-com set in a school setting, I found myself enjoying it every step of the way. It has a really sleek nostalgic presentation and is really comfy in its own way. Every relevant character is dynamic. The animation is just dazzling in my personal opinion for 2008. It's very very nostalgic. It's cute, funny, memorable and very re-watchable. It does a really good job taking the concept of a "Tsundere" character and making them unconventional.

Soul Eater

Soul Eater, a shounen anime produced by Bones that came out in 2008. Even though it came out in 2008, the animation quality is surprisingly very good for something of that time. The characters are very fun and surprising - which is a big part of the story. Overall Soul Eater is pretty damn good. I generally liked the series and even though it may not be for everyone, it has some awesome storyline, epic battles, and really sucks you in when you get into it. If you have a chance, give it a watch and check out a few episodes.

Assassination Classroom

Assassination Classroom is about a class of weak students with low grades who are placed far from the campus in a wood. And it's about their unusual teacher, a yellow colored alien octopus with a big smile, who threatened to destroy the world and can only be stopped when someone kills him. This is definitely in the top 3 anime I have watched, if not possibly one of my favourite anime of all time. I just adore the cast in this show, the show just tugs all of your heartstrings and keeps you begging for more.

Light Novels

Recently, I have also been getting into reading light novels, I prefer genres such as action and martial arts. These are some of the light novels I have read.
